Strawberries, smoothies, and DIY products, the three things that I love. What is better than these things? A DIY strawberry smoothie, of course.
First, strawberries. Not only are they tasty, sweet and delicious, but there are also many surprising health benefits. Strawberries are nutrient-rich and packed with antioxidants (like vitamin C), and great to your skin. They even have the power of wrinkle prevention.
I also love smoothies. They are great to serve at parties, barbeques, and perhaps more importantly, they are healthy. In addition, they are easy to make and easy to serve.
Finally, DIY products are also a favourite, as in quarantine, you are limited to going out less. Combine all three things, and you get a DIY strawberry smoothie that will blow your friends and family away.
Basically, I went to Portland, Oregon, a few years ago, and discovered this DIY strawberry smoothie recipe. Although I do not have a bike blender, I do have a Vitamix at home, which is a top class blender (Click here to Search on Amazon).

To make the drink:
- Wash the strawberries
- Then peel the banana
- Wash and cut one slice of lime
- Add the strawberries, bananas, honey, and ice cubes into the blender
- Finally blend well and pour into a cup
- Add a slice of lime (optional)
- Pour into cups
- Serve Immediately
- Get blown away by the smoothie
Tip: If you want to add more of a punch in your drink, you can add a slice of lemon and blend them together in the drink to provide more nutrients.
